Eligibility/Documents Required for applying for Schedule Caste/Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) Certificate in Delhi
1. Kindly download the SC/ST Application form from the official website www.delhi.gov.in Fill it carefully and then get it duly attested by MPs/MLAs/Municipal Councilors and Gazetted Officers on the basis of personal knowledge. However, the required supporting documents can be attested by MPs/MLAs and Gazetted Officers.
2. Where a certificate is already issued to the father and the applicant happens to be the son/daughter/child of the person who already has a certificate, such local enquiry may be dispensed with.
3. The Affidavit submitted with the application form must be attested by an Executive Magistrate or SDM concerned only.
4. Copy of Voter I-Card or Ration Card as proof of address.
5. Proof of Date of Birth (Birth certificate, School Certificate or passport)
6. Two Passport Size photographs, one attested and one plain
Very Important Note: Wrong attestation will invite consequences irrespective of the person verifying the caste or documents.
