SSC Examination Dates 2018 |SSC Recruitment 2018-2019 Announcements and Last Date
Staff Selection Commission also known as SSC Examination dates for 2018 are now available at the official website of SSC. The Staff Selection commission has announced the dates on which the recruitment and exam notification will be made for the various government jobs in India. The tentative dates have also been announced by the SSC for the upcoming recruitment in 2016.

Please note the dates on which the SSC notification for the 2018 examinations will be available in the leading newspapers and Employment News/Rozgar Samachar. The examination and recruitment details will also be made available at the official site. Once the notification is made you can apply online for the SSC Exams 2018 . It was in the year 1941 that Special Police Establishment (SPE) which was established and from where the CBI traces its origin. However in 1946 The Delhi Special Police Establishment Act was brought into force which transferred the superintendence of the SPE to the Home Department and its functions were enlarged to cover all departments of the Govt. of India.

The name of the DSPE became the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in 1963 vis a Home Ministry resolution. In the initial days the CBI used to investigate only those offences which were notified by the Central Government and were related to corruption by Central Government employees.   

However over a period of time large number of public sector undertakings were established by the government, and the employees of these undertakings were also brought under CBI purview. Later on the Public Sector Banks and their employees also came within the ambit of the CBI.

Shri D P Kohli was the founder director of CBI who remained in the office from 1963 to 1968
