It not only provides security to PSUs but today CISF is one of the premier multi-skilled security agencies of India offering services to sensitive and key infrastructure installations of the country spread all over. It is CISF is which is presently providing security cover to space establishments, airports, power plants, nuclear installations, seaports, sensitive Government buildings and ever heritage monuments. CISF is donning the key responsibility of Security of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. It is also taking care of the VIP Security, Disaster Management and establishment of a Formed Police Unit (FPU) of the UN at Haiti.
