Railway Recruitment Board Allahabad 2013-2014 – Railway Jobs and Vacancies
The Railway Recruitment Board Allahabad is engaged in recruiting staff for different units of Railways according to the requirement. RRB Allahabad was earlier Railway Service Commission and in 1985 renamed to Railway Recruitment Board. RRB Allahabad falls under the Ministry of Railways and functions under over all supervision of the RRCB or Railway Recruitment Control Board, Railway Board New Delhi.
The most important aim of the RRB Allahabad is to recruit and make available the right kind of manpower at the right time to the different units of the Railways as per their requirements.
With these objectives in view, the RRB Allahabad is at the moment catering to the recruitment needs of the following Divisions/Units. RRB Allahabad recruits skilled staff for various Group C posts in the Railways
Railway Recruitment Board Allahabad or RRB/ALD is responsible for recruitments of Group C staff for Allahabad, Lucknow and Moradabad divisions of Northern Railway, and for Diesel locomotive Works, Varanasi. Recently the RRB was also assigned the added responsibility of recruitment of Group D staff which was earlier the prerogative of the zonal railways.
With the restructuring of Railway zones, RRB Allahabad has now been assigned the responsibility of recruitment work for North Central Railway, including both for the NCR headquarters office at Allahabad as well as for the three divisions at Allahabad, Jhansi, and Agra and also for DLW Varanasi
